KrossMat - Non Slip Mat

The 100% nitrile build of KrossMat Anti-Fatigue mat makes for excellent resistance to grease, oils, fats and detergents. This industrial mat is ideal for greasy floors and food processing and manufacturing areas.

First Mats - Product Scores

 Anti Fatigue Anti-Fatigue - 2/3 This mat offers Very Good anti-fatigue properties. This is measured by ASTM D3547 which records the compression and decompression of the mat. The higher the rating the better its anti fatigue qualities.
Slip Resistance Slip Resistance - 2/3 - This mat provides Very Good slip resistance. This measured by ASTM C1028-89 & DIN-E-51130, 51097 which tests the force required to cause slippage of a load across the mat. The higher the rating the higher the slip resistance
Wear Resistance Wear Resistance - 2/3 This mat offers Very Good resistance to wear. This is measured by ASTM D3844-92 which subjects the mat to 5000 cycles under an abrasive wheel. The higher the rating the longer the life span of the mat.
Oil Resistant Oil Resistant - Some mats deteriorate with oil. This mat is Oil & Grease Resistant making it suitable for all Industrial and Food production areas where this is an issue.
Wet Areas Wet Area Mat - This mat is suitable for Wet Environments where the spillage of water and other chemicals is an issue.

Antimicrobial Testing Summary

The antimicrobial contained in KrossMat is registered with the EPA. EPA Number: 10466-28

The antimicrobial is less than 0.3% of the components of the mat.
The antimicrobial is added to inhibit the growth of slime and odor causing bacteria on the mat.

AATCC Test Method 100 - Modified Agar Slurry Inonulum Method - 24hr.
Exposure - this method test the efficacy of the antimicrobial to gram positive and gram negative bacteria.

The mats were washed and dried in a conventional commercial washer and dryer and were exposed to more rigorous washing and drying than is reflected in our washing instructions.
The testing was perfomed by NAMSA (North American Science Associates)

Flammability, Compression & Oil Resistance Ratings
The sponge compound (KT-263) used in Kitchen Mat is rated 2 - B - 5 per ASTM D-1056. Note: 2 = Closed cell structure
B = maximum oil resistance
5 = 25% compression resistance range of 17 to 24 psi

Kitchen Mat passes the Federal Flammability Standard DOC FF 1-70

Composition/Components and Additives.

Rubber backing. Vulcanised Solid Sponge Acrylonitrile Butadiene Compound. The rubber and the compound ingredients, in the vulcanised state, are classed as non-hazardous.

Melting point/range: Not applicable Flash point: Above 250∞C. Ignition temperature: Above 250∞C Autoflammability: Above 250∞C. Explosive limits: Not applicable. Oxidising properties: Not applicable. Vapour pressure: Not applicable. Relative density: Not applicable. Solubility in water: Insoluble.
Solubility in solvents: Insoluble in common organic solvents.

Stability and reactivity.

Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions of use.
Dangerous reactions: Dangerous reactions have not been observed when the product
is used for the purpose for which it is intended by the manufacturer
Decomposition products: Under thermal decomposition (above 300∞C), flammable and toxic fumes can be generated which include nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and prussic acid. The genera tion of cleavage and oxidation products is subject to fire conditions.

Toxicological information. No hazard likely for the form in which the product is delivered.

Ecological information. The product is biodegradable only to a very limited extent. In general, the product is persistent in the soil.

Disposal. To be disposed of in accordance with local authority regulations and current legislation. The product can be disposed of together with normal industrial waste, in landfill or by incineration at a plant licensed for this purpose.

Transportation. No regulatory requirements. Keep separated from foodstuffs.
