What are Oils and Lubricants?
Oils and Lubricants are used to lubricate machinery, tools and other moving parts. They are often used in industrial workplaces, such as garages and workshops.
Oils and Lubricants can form a protective barrier helping to prolong the life of machinery, moving parts and tools. Some oils have cooling properties which helps to remove heat from moving parts, making them safer to use, and some are anti-corrosive helping to further prolong the life of your tools or machinery.
Which Oils and Lubricants are in the First Mats range?
We offer a wide range of different oils and lubricants covering a diverse range of different applications.
We have a range of four General Purpose Compressor Oils, which are specifically formulated for use with Air Compressors. They are all high performance oils, which will lubricate moving parts and help to cool elements of the compressor. They are available in different sizes from 1L to 5L.
Our White Grease Lubricant Spray is ideal for use with locks, hinges and other small moving parts. It also has a silicon-free formula which is suitable for bodyshop use. It lubricates the parts, leaving behind a protective barrier for long-lasting protection. We also have a Chain and Cable Clear Lubricant Spray which works particularly well with motorcycle chains and forklift masts.
Our Tapping and Cutting Fluid Spray can be used with a wide range of different machinery and drilling operations. It has a high viscosity which provides excellent lubrication, and also reduces friction and dissipates heat.
For maintaining air tools, we offer an Air Tool Oil which contains mineral lubricants and detergents, providing effective and long-lasting lubrication. We also offer oils specifically for use with hydraulic jacks – our Hydraulic Jack Oils can be used with both trolley and bottle jacks and are also suitable for use with cranes. You can choose between a 5L container or a 12 pack of 500ml bottles, depending on your needs.
