How Anti-Fatigue Mats Are Boosting Operator Comfort and Safety

Problem

At Revolution Milling, workshop safety and staff comfort are top priorities, especially in high-use areas like those around the CNC machines. Machine operators were standing for long periods on hard floors, which caused fatigue and discomfort. On top of that, the areas around the machines were prone to becoming slippery, especially when small metal swarf or oil residues were present, increasing the risk of accidents.
Solution

To tackle these issues, Steve purchased several of our Non-Slip Rubber Anti-Fatigue Mats and strategically placed them in front of key workstations across the workshop. These mats were particularly positioned in front of CNC machines to improve comfort for operators during long shifts, while also helping reduce the risk of slipping on oil or metal fragments.

Thanks to their durable rubber construction, the mats provide excellent grip on the floor, stay securely in place, and are effective at catching small pieces of swarf as parts are removed from the lathes. Their anti-fatigue properties also help reduce strain on the legs and back during extended standing periods.
Results

The mats have made a noticeable difference across the shop floor. Operators now have a safer, more comfortable working environment that supports both their wellbeing and productivity. The mats are holding up well even in the demanding conditions of a busy workshop.
