What are Bunded Trolleys?

Bunded Trolleys are wheeled trolleys designed to transport liquids in drums and other containers safely and easily, as they have a sump to capture any leaks or spills. They are usually manufactured from polyethylene and other corrosion-resistant materials.

How does a Bunded Trolley work?

Bunded Trolleys carry heavy loads weighing several hundred kilos in some cases, so they move on castors and may have handles for added manoeuvrability.

Drums and containers are placed on the Trolley ready for transport. Any leaks or spills from the containers during transportation drain into the sump, where they are contained until the liquid can be disposed of safely. The sump is then cleaned before being used again.

Our Bunded Drum Trolley for 1 x 205L Drum, which is designed to be used by one person. It is moulded in one piece from medium density polyethylene and contains a sump for up to 230 litres.

We also have two Drum Trolleys, the Bunded Drum Trolley for 1 x 205ltr Drum and the same Drum Dolly with a handle, for maximum manoeuvrability.

And finally, there's our Mobile Bunded Drip Trolley, ideal for moving small containers, which comes with a removable grid for easy cleanups.
