The School Outdoor Walkway Matting Roll is designed to improve safety and accessibility across school grounds where grass, mud, and uneven surfaces are a daily challenge. It's particularly well suited for defined routes to fire assembly areas, walkways leading to outdoor classrooms, and high-traffic sections of playing fields where the ground quickly becomes worn and slippery.
Manufactured from durable natural rubber, the matting features an open-ring design that scrapes mud from footwear while allowing rainwater to drain straight through. This helps prevent water sitting on the surface and reduces the risk of slips during wet weather. Whether pupils are moving between lessons or staff are guiding groups to assembly points, the matting provides a more secure surface underfoot.
Available as a 10.5m roll for long, continuous walkways or as 100cm x 150cm tiles for flexible layouts around pitches and learning spaces, the matting can be laid directly onto grass or partially embedded for a more stable, longer-term route. It's easy to clean, reposition, and adapt as school layouts and usage change.
